In Moving On

There must be a magic in moving on

for how could you say to a memory, “bye and so long”

when back in yesteryears he was the one

you were thinking when you heard a song?

There must be a miracle in time

when it passes by and by

for how can you not anymore sigh

when you think of his name and not missing his smile?

There must be a wonder in this earth

as you feel the freedom from the tears you once shed

for how can bitterness turn to compassion

when you see him and not feel being hurt all along?

There must be enchantments in true love

as you let your heart be healed from being sad

for how can it bravely open up to someone

when you think again

of being in the world of romance?

There must be a fairy tale out there for you

a prince you may meet and say “I do”

when he stands face-to-face in the altar with you.
